As you know we make our own lager. Well if you don’t know, now you know. It’s called Market Helles – get it?

So we went to visit our friends and brewers in Cornwall at Harbour Brewing. Will, who runs Kicking Horse and is the key cog in the supply chain, picked us up in a minibus early on a friday morning (too early mate) and Simon, Dean, Jordan, Sam, Darius and I (Ed) were great company on the way down (AKA we all fell asleep)…

A few games of eye spy later and we made it and got straight down to business. We drank lots of beer and spoke about the world cup.

No seriously, Eddie (the legend) gave us a tour of the brewery and showed us how it’s done. We all have a new found love and appreciation for brewing beer. Let’s just say there’s a lot to it.

Then, boat trip time (don’t worry we weren’t driving). We headed out around the coast to soak up the sun and the coastal air. It was also the perfect excuse for Darius to get his beloved drone out and capture some awesome footage (click here to watch the full documentary)

After a long day (of drinking) we finished with a meal on the beach in Polzeath. The hard life.

Top spots we would recommend for a trip to Cornwall:

1. Harbour Brewing (obvs)
2. St Moritz Hotel
3. Surfside Restaurant

It was a great couple of days and we are very proud to be working with a UK based independent brewer – something we really pride ourselves on.

A huge thank you to Will and Eddie for having us.

Same time next year?!
