In 2016, Seb ‘Sebby’ Holmes, the ex-Head Chef of Smoking Goat and Begging Bowl, teamed up with Dan Turner to host a series of pop-ups, supper clubs and private catering events before bringing their Farang residency to Street Feast.
After working the street food scene, Farang set up shop at Seb’s family restaurant, San Daniele in Highbury, as a longer-term location, before announcing it as their new permanent home. Seb’s simple approach to Southeast Asian food has gained him critical acclaim from the likes of Fay Maschler, Giles Coren & Tania Ballantine.
