China's favourite street food comes to the West End
Jian Bing is a traditional Chinese street food made from a savoury crêpe with an eggy coating, served with sweet and savoury sauce, succulent meat fillings and a signature crisp, designed to be eaten hand-held and on the go.
Alex Peffly and Z He, co-founders of Bun House and Wun’s, are the masterminds behind Pleasant Lady. They’re bringing China’s favourite street food to the masses at a third London site.
Available to buy from a hole in the wall kitchen and made fresh to order on a traditional hot plate, Pleasant Lady uses the flavours of Z’s native Canton alongside the classic elements of a Jian Bing on a concise but delicious menu.
